Canada - US Relationship?
Some believe that the relationship is the most stable and mutually beneficial international relationship in the world. The two countries are each others largest trading partners and have multiple military alliances. The two share a very inter-connected history and by and large have many cultural similarities. On the other hand there have been some disputes between groups of people in both countries. Some Canadians do not like the overwhelming economic and social influence the United States has on the country. Some Americans believe they spend un-needed tax dollars on continental defense which some believe gives Canadians a break. Others do not like some Canadian political policies such as universal health care and by and large a more thorough social safety net. I am asking this question in the politics section because most of the respondents in this section are American. I am also asking this question in the Canada section. This way I can see some differences between the two. I guess I should actually ask the question lol. What do you think of this relationship and what would you like to see change in this relationship? I guess I should actually ask the question lol. What do you think of this relationship and what would you like to see change in this relationship? I guess I should actually ask the question lol.
