How do I sell my car on the Internet?
In much the same way that the Internet has made sourcing and purchasing a car much easier, so too has it made selling a vehicle so much simpler. Fifteen years ago no-one had even thought of selling a car on the Internet - but in those days the majority of the world's population had not even heard of the Internet. It really only started taking off in a big way in the mid 1990's, along with an avalanche of Information Technology jobs.
There were several ways to sell my car then. I could place an advert in the local press, usually at considerable expense, or I could opt for one of those specialist magazines at even greater expense. The only other way to sell my car was to sell it to a used car dealer, who would invariable give me far less than the car was actually worth before selling it himself with a heavy markup.
The great thing is, when I sell my car today through a site such as Surf4cars, it doesn't cost me a thing to advertise it. So how do you go about it? Just click on the "sell" tab on the Surf4cars website and fill in your details and the details about the car you have for sale in the form that you'll find there. Submit the form and your vehicle will be listed in our database for a period of 30 days.
You can even upload a good photograph of the car so that prospective buyers get an idea of what they are purchasing. What could be easier? Before you know it you could be getting all sorts of enquiries about your vehicle. There's no doubt about it. It is much easier to sell a vehicle on the Internet today than all of those different options that were available 15 years ago - what's more, it's cheaper too.

What can I do when someone I used to be friends with is making my life a living hell?
I knew this person for about 5-6 years and we are no longer friends. He is now trying to make my life a living hell! I am 27 year old male and he is a 21 year old male!! I am selling my car on the internet and he makes nasty comments, telling people that my car isn't worth a damn thing and that it's been in an accident!! He is somewhat of a "computer hacker" and he gets into the same chat forums that I go into! He spreads ficious, nasty lies about me!! People are actually believing the things that he has put in the forums! He knows exactly what buttons to push, to get me pissed off and I am trying to keep my control, but he is making it impossible for me to do that!! What I would like to do, is to confront him and basically, punch him in the face, cause there is just no reasoning with him. He wants to play these childish games. When we used to be friends, he would come over to my house and use my laptop and he found different ways of getting into peoples e-mails! What can I do...help!!

Do you think this car sale on Craigslist is fraud?
I live in New Hampshire, read this email:
The car is already at the shipping company in Schaumburg IL ready for shipping.
I have a contract with eBay so this deal must go through eBay Vehicle Protection Program.
I'm very busy with my job and I'm out of town ( i am doctor in US Army , deployed in Afghanistan now ) so I can't meet you in person , this is the reason why I chose to sell my car on the Internet. According with the eBay you have 5 days after you receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not.
Here is how it will work:

2. After I will receive the details from you, I will forward them to eBay.
3. After they will process your info, they will send us both invoices. You will receive the invoice with the details on how to make a refundable payment.
