San Carlos luxury cars dealer will offer a BMW with an N55 engine

Engine technology is starting to blow my mind. Not that I'm an engineer or anything, but holy cow is this stuff getting complex. And leave it to one of the world's most endearing luxury brands to kick the technology up a notch. BMW really is a leader in the industry, and drivers of San Carlos luxury cars understand exactly what I'm talking about. I remember a few years ago when Toyota was just launching hybrid technology. It seemed like a lot of the luxury brands were simply behind because they thought they could get away with it. Turned out they couldn't, and BMW was on the cutting edge of the luxury hybrid movement.

If you were one of the premiere luxury brands in the world, I bet you'd have some pretty serious engineers working on your engine technology as well. Still, there is a lot to be said about a manufacturer that acts as a leader in innovation, and Belmont luxury cars enthusiasts know to go to BMW. The current twin-turbocharged inline six engine, known as the N54, is about to get a replacement. I'm talking about the brand new N55 engine which has been fully equipped in the 2010 BMW 5 Series GT. Dealers of San Carlos luxury cars are already enjoying the benefits that this fantastic engine has to offer drivers around the area. There are some similarities and some differences between the N54 and the N55 which we will go over next.

For similarities, the N55 shares an all-aluminum block, direct injection system and 10.2:1 compression ratio with its predecessor, the N54. The nice thing about the new N55 is that it only jacks up the weight by 4 pounds, an important point to note for Belmont luxury cars dealers. But, perhaps the differences are the most important part. In fact, the N55 has a few key differentiators that set it apart from its predecessor. First of all, the N55 offers "Twin Power, " a single twin-scroll turbocharger that replaces the two smaller turbochargers offered by the N54. And San Carlos luxury cars dealers also are excited about the fact that it's the second BMW inline six to use Valvetronic. The Valvtronic system has a built-in electric motor on the cylinder head that continuously varies the amount of valve lift.

In the end, the Valvetronic system plays such a huge role that it reduces fuel consumption by 8 percent. Drivers of Belmont luxury cars also like that it quickens response time when you're cruising at low load and suddenly need to kick into a wide-open throttle. These are huge innovations for the auto industry, and one of the biggest names on the market is leading the charge. BMW is still one of my favorite manufacturers and will continue to be for the remainder of my driving days. I'm keeping my eye on them to be the first in a generation of hybrid technology, as I have high hopes for this company. Head on down to a BMW dealership today to find out what I'm talking about.

Would you diss Justin Timberlake?
I did. I'm a security guard for a luxury car dealer in Beverly Hills and I've had many celebrities pick up or drop of their vehicles for service. Today Justin Timberlake showed up and gave me his I.D. to pick up his vehicle. I recognized his face but didn't know who he was since I'm not a fan of boy bands. After taking down his information for the vehicle release process, my coworker told me who he was. So I asked JT, "Weren't you a singer for that boy band, Nsync?" He rudely replied, "No! Can I have my car now!". So I responded, "Good, those guys were a bunch of queers." He glared at me and I gave him his key. I told my coworker what I had done and he said he would have never dissed JT to his face. I asked why and he said because he's famous. I thought that was stupid so I'm asking if anyone else here feels the same. If the majority of you agree with him then I guess it's not stupid.

Questions on Buying a Car?
I am planning on buying a 2001 Chrysler Sebring from a small, but luxury car dealer in the city. (Not too small, i'd say mid-sized that typically deal in Audi, Jaguars, and most of their inventory is over $30,000 though I know this does not mean much. The car has around 50,000 miles. I am planning on buying this Sebring from them for around $11,000. They offer a warranty that is through some cheap sounding warranty company "Preferred Warranties INC" or something, but it is expensive and I only have a maximum amount I can afford right now but REALLY Want this car and there arent any others like this around in inventories.. (Sales tax is EXPENSIVE adding up to almost 1000+ here, and the car total would be about $14,500 or something after sales tax and warranty if I did get the warranty) Do I REALLY Need the warranty, and if worst comes to worst down the road what is the most i'd be paying to fix the car? ($3000 for a new engine, $1600 for transmission?) ALSO I checked the history through Carfax and it was a Corporate Lease Vehicle owned by the same company for 5 years, driven only about 9000 miles a year it looks like. Then it went on auction in 2006 and appeared at dealer 1 month later. Am I likely to have less problems with it, and is this a good ownership history? IT looks like the electrical system was "serviced" 2 times, and the air condition once but not sure what that means on Carfax I must have got lucky because I owned a Chrysler Sebring Convertible for 2 years that was 3 or 4 years old when I got it and NEVER ever had any problem with it, and I did not take care of it like I should have...

Color of Money: Buying a used car for cash could provide a windfall in the long run

You can buy a car with cash. I have to say this because there are a lot of people who have just accepted that borrowing for a vehicle is the only way to get one.
